Endurance, 2014 is three consecutive medium format transparencies of Lower Manhatta azure sky, taken on the same day, arranged in series. This work is meant to be installed on a ceiling, or leaned diagonally against a wall. It may also be hung horizontally or vertically on a wall. The work carries a recurring motif of azure sky which is a loose reference to that searing unforgettable hue on 9/11. Built as an architectural object which provides a view out of darkness, windows the work also resembles a resembles a strip of film.
