Comprised of two forms of growth, in nature as well as the constructed world, two homes blend in Natural Composites, 2012/2018. Juxtaposing an image of One World Trade under construction, with an analog image of autumn splendor in Ohio’s Chagrin Valley, the march of time, in parallel, is captured in both analog and digital formats, another juxtaposition representing progress, loss, regrowth. This work is created with a unique, hand made reclaimed wood canvas, referencing the side of a house or a barn, components of home for many.
