Relative Observer, 2017/2020 initiates a series of works which run on multiple timelines simultaneously. In this piece, work from the past is viewed through the lens and gaze of work from the present. The past work is photographed into the work of the present in-situ, creating both a temporal as well as thematic nesting, as well as a relative viewpoint on time, change, and the continual presence of the past, in the present.
