Bridging the digital and the analog, Heat Index (2018) explores the growing divide between photography’s historical role as a direct imprint of reality and its present, fluid existence as a digital medium—one with entirely new possibilities for representing the real. Heat Index, 2018 is a digital photograph which gazes at a transparency film frame of the sky, in the sky.
