Relative Observer, 2017/2020, initiates a series of works operating across multiple timelines simultaneously. Here, a past image—captured at the highest resolution available at the time—is photographed in-situ through the gaze of a present work, rendered with vastly advanced imaging technology. The result is both a visual and conceptual recursion: a nested composition that examines time, relentless technological advancement, and the persistent presence of the past within the now.
